Which massage is right for you today…

Our Custom Massages are offered in single or couple’s sessions. Relax and detox in the sauna retreat and outdoor garden and when it is time for your personal journey, you will be taken by your own therapist into a private room. Your therapist will take you in a private room and design a massage that aligns with what your body needs in this moment. As a result, no two massages here are truly alike. Your massage may incorporate elements of relaxation, deeper pressure or Swedish. Your therapist may also include essential oils and warm towels for the ultimate personalized experience.

Couples Massage in our Private Akasha Room
Journey together in our private Akasha Room. Dual therapists will design a massage that aligns with the needs of your body in this moment. As a result, no two massages here are truly alike. Warm towels and stones, essential oils, Swedish, relaxation or deeper pressure are all apart of this private experience. Add a hydrotherapy soak $39 each

DEEP TISSUE –  Chronic pain, stiff neck, upper & lower back pain, muscle tightness, osteoarthritis pain, fibromyalgia
Deep tissue massage is not a Swedish massage with more pressure. Techniques are used to break up scar tissue and physically break down muscle “knots” or adhesions (bands of painful, rigid tissue) that can disrupt circulation and cause pain, limited range of motion, and inflammation. At the beginning of a deep tissue massage, lighter pressure is generally applied to warm up and prepare the muscles. Your therapist may use fingertips, knuckles, hands, elbows, and forearms. You may be asked to breathe deeply as the massage therapist works on tense areas. Contraindications: pregnancy, have or have had blood clots – please check with your doctor or choose a different massage treatment

SOUL HARMONY MASSAGE with Miko Riveron, Shamanic Practitioner, LMT
You are an energetic being – This amazing experience offers Massage Therapy coinciding with Energy Work. Singing bowls, crystals, incense and chimes, salt and basalt warm stones open muscles and Chakras releasing stress and negative energy; releasing negative emotions and giving you an overall feeling of calm. Renewed, you are empowered, silent and present, open and have a feeling of clarity. 90-minute session is recommended

ORGANIC ESSENTIAL OIL MASSAGE – Relaxing & Healing
When you inhale essential oils, messages are transmitted to the limbic system and have a calming affect on your heart rate and stress level. These amazing healing oils lower blood pressure and also assist with memory, digestion, and the immune system. Essential oils are absorbed through the skin; Each essential oil has different healing properties. For example, some calm systems or attack viruses while others energize. It is a journey for both mind and body.

HOT STONE MASSAGE – Deeply relaxing and Muscle Stimulating
Heated basalt river rocks are placed on the body’s key energy points to stimulate and invigorate. Radiant heat soothes aches and tension. Increased blood flow draws out toxins, oxygenates and brings nutrients to targeted areas. This healing art form helps cleanse negativity and emanates healing power. One stroke with a Hot Stone is equal to 10 strokes with a hand. This grounding earth element of Hot Stones deeply penetrates the muscle layer.

RAINDROP THERAPY MASSAGE
This unique therapy is a rejuvenating and deeply relaxing topical application that combines the science of aromatherapy with the techniques of Vita Flex, reflexology and light stroke massage. Raindrop Therapy stimulates all of the body systems on a physical and emotional level. The relaxing application of the therapeutic-grade oils are gently dispensed like “little raindrops” up along the spine and back. The oils are worked into the skin by using soft feather-like movements and strokes. The essential oils and strokes are also applied to soles of feet and shoulders for reinforced benefits. Raindrop can not only help relieve pain and restore immediate physical well-being, but it can set in motion the healing processes that will last for weeks.

CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY (CST) by Miko Riveron, L.M.T.
Craniosacral Therapy is a light-touch approach that can create dramatic improvements in your life. It releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance. Few body structures have more influence over your health and well-being than your central nervous system. And few body systems have more impact on your central nervous system than the craniosacral system – the soft tissues and fluid that protect your brain and spinal cord.

Using a gentle touch – starting with about the weight of a nickel – practitioners evaluate your internal environment. They then use distinctive light-touch techniques to release any restrictions they find. By freeing the central nervous system to perform at its best, CST naturally eliminates pain and stress, strengthens your resistance to disease, and enhances your health and well-being, and because it’s so gentle, CST can be effective for all ages, from newborns to elders. A typical CST session takes place in a quiet, private setting. You remain fully clothed as you relax on a comfortable massage table.

Raindrop Therapy Massage with Craniosacral Therapy Combination Massage
This custom massage brings the best of Thermae’s most relaxing and healing therapies together in one amazing journey. Healing, relaxing and energizing.

LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE | Therapists: Sharon or Stephanie
Lymphatic drainage massage is a profound technique to help increase lymph flow. With an increase of lymph flow immune function is increased. Harmful substances are removed from the tissues and neutralized in the nodes. It has also been shown that an increase in lymph flow stimulates an increased production of lymphocytes- enhancing immune function. Lymphatic drainage massage is also useful when working with clients who have sports injuries. After the initial inflammatory stage has passed, lymphatic work can be applied after Sports or Neuromuscular massage has been completed. This will help to clear the tissue of debris, and help to reduce the minor edema that sometimes occurs. Beyond its application for injuries, Estheticians have been using lymph drainage massage for years to enhance the quality of the skin.

MEDICAL MASSAGE | PAIN THERAPY | HOLISTIC BODY CONTOURING
Stephanie Miller, BS, LMT, MMP

Medical Massage & Neuromuscular Trigger Point Therapy
When deep tissue massage just isn’t enough. Medical Massage treatments typically focus the entire session on a specific area of concern and employ a variety of skills including Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release, Active Release Technique, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation, and more to treat any number of injuries, limitations, or dysfunctions in the body’s soft tissues.  It is often prescribed by doctors, chiropractors, and physical therapists to treat conditions like frozen shoulder, tennis elbow and other forms of tendonitis, pulled/strained muscles, sciatica, and so on.

Integrated Myofascial Release
Myofascial release is a safe and very effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure Ito the skin to detect connective tissue restrictions; in order to eliminate pain and restore motion. This indirect method involves a gentle stretch which allows the fascia to unwind itself. The gentle traction applied to the restricted fascia will result in heat and increased blood flow to the area. This allows the body’s inherent ability for self correction to return, thus eliminating pain and restoring optimum performance of the body. It aims to release myofascial (connective tissue) restrictions in the body, and to break up any restrictive scar tissue. It has also been known to relieve chronic tension, to increase range of motion, to improve posture, and restore length and flexibility to the muscles and fascia.

The pressure of this massage may be somewhat slower and more intense, and massage cream isn’t always used. Recommended for a series of 2-10 sessions for maximum benefits. Kinesiology tape can also be administered upon request.

Dolphin Neurostim MPS Therapy
Microcurrent point stimulation (MPS). This tool combines the principles of acupuncture with modern neurology, without the use of needles. It has been proven effective for a variety of conditions from trigger points, frozen shoulder, TMJ, diabetic neuropathy and even releasing scar tissue. Microcurrent Point Stimulation (MPS) Therapy is the world’s first integrative therapy developed exclusively to sympathetically DE-Regulate the autonomic nervous system and fight chronic pain.
The MPS device locates and applies concentrated DC microcurrent to therapeutically active points (acupuncture & trigger) for the purpose of relaxing muscles, calming the nervous system and releasing endorphins, the body’s natural painkillers. MPS has been a remarkable success in the fight against chronic pain.
The results are so impressive using this approach that complete or substantial relief (60-85%+) from pain often occurs within 1-3 applications. Most patients require 2-10 treatments for lasting outcomes.
Cupping Therapy
One way to think about cupping is that it is the inverse of massage. Rather than applying pressure to muscles, the suction uses pressure to pull skin, tissue and muscles upward. The purpose of cupping is to enhance circulation, help relieve pain, remove “heat” and pull out the toxins that linger in your body’s tissues. In Chinese medicine, we explain that pain is a result of stagnation. During a treatment, we bring the old stagnant blood to the surface so that new blood can flow more smoothly through the body. Cupping causes the skin to temporarily turn red, blue or purple, especially if there is an injury or energetic blockage under the area that was cupped.

Benefits from cupping therapy:

  • congestion, the common cold, asthma, and allergies
  • detoxing, reduces cellulite, lowers blood pressure, assists injuries
  • relieves pain, calms inflammation, helps with digestive issues
  • helps insomnia, helps with irritability stress, anxiety & other emotional issues

Post-Surgical Massage/Electro Lymphatic Drainage
Post surgical massage combines electro lymphatic drainage and Neurostim MPS  scar tissue release in a gentle, non invasive session. After any type of surgery, swelling & inflammation may occur due to the trauma caused at the incision sites. This treatment uses both manual & electro lymphatic drainage techniques to help move the interstitial fluid gently by pumping it towards the lymph node bundles for excretion. This is combined with MPS scar tissue release to help reduce pain and swelling; while allowing for a quicker recovery that can help prevent fibrosis or seromas from occurring. This is ideal after any type of body contouring surgery like liposuction, breast augmentation/lift/reduction or even orthopedic procedures to minimize scar tissue & decrease swelling. May include kinesiology taping for drainage as needed. Therapist does NOT touch the incision sites or remove any drains & suggests obtaining physician’s approval prior to booking. Recommended 2-10 sessions for optimal results.

Lypossage Holistic Body Contouring
Lypossage™ is a non-invasive, natural health treatment that helps to cleanse the body of toxins and retained fluids. It is a combination of both lymphatic drainage & myofascial release techniques. This treatment will improve self-image, help to drain fat, improve the texture and tone of skin, improve circulation, release toxins, release deep fascial restrictions, improve posture, increase muscle tone and help to decrease areas of discomfort. It also has positive effects on the cardiovascular system and the lymphatic drainage system. Most clients find that Lypossage enhances their energy and mental clarity.  While there are some contraindications for specific medical conditions, Lypossage can be safely and comfortably experienced by most individuals.  It is much safer than surgical procedures such as liposuction.  However, for those who opt for a more dramatic surgical result, Lypossage can be very beneficial before and after the liposuction procedure.

Each Lypossage™ lasts approximately 30 minutes per zone and is performed in a series of 18-sessions over the course of 4-8 weeks. (2-4 treatment sessions per week.)  Treatment sessions are based on zones. You may wish to treat multiple zones during a single session. You will start to feel a difference almost immediately, but it may take 8-10 sessions before the results become measurable. After that the progress can be quite dramatic. Maintenance programs will be customized to meet your needs and may include a home care protocol and monthly or bi-monthly maintenance treatments.

About Therapeutic Add on’s:

Modalities like the RockBlade and Cupping are considered to be Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization or IASTM techniques. The purpose of this is to stimulate a local inflammatory response, which initiates reabsorption of excessive scar tissue and facilitates a cascade of healing activities. Adhesions within the soft tissue that may have developed as a result of surgery, immobilization, or repetitive strain are broken down, allowing the patient to regain function. This is a gentle technique that helps the patient restore movement and function.

Kinesiotaping is a rehabilitative taping technique that is designed to facilitate the body’s natural healing process while providing support and stability to muscles and joints without restricting the body’s range of motion; as well as providing extended support to prolong the benefits of massage therapy. Latex-free and wearable for days at a time, Kinesiotape is safe for everyone and successfully treats a variety of orthopedic, neuromuscular, and neurological conditions. Kinesiotape alleviates pain and facilitates lymphatic drainage by providing a gentle lift to the skin.
